Experienced, academic obstetrician with expertise in low and high risk pregnancies.
Experience
I have prepared over 150 medicolegal reports with a mix of 70% defendant, 30% Claimant.
I have undertaken Bond Solon training in report writing and Academy of Expert training in Court Room skills.

I have acted as an independent expert for Coroners' inquests and participated in meetings of experts at various stages in litigation.
Expertise
I am a Consultant Obstetrician at a Maternity Unit rated Outstanding by the CQC and am part of the maternity safety team. I provide care for low and high risk pregnancies, with expertise in maternal medicine, diabetes in pregnancy, labour, caesarean and instrumental birth, perineal repair and postnatal care including contraception.
I am a clinical academic at Imperial, leading the MSc module on Perinatal care, lecturing on our Reproductive Biology MSc and BSc and examining for these courses and our undergraduate medical (MBBS) students. I lead national and international clinical research projects on pregnancy complications and am a reviewer for medical journals and funders. I have worked as a clinical advisor for England Chief Medical Officers, Professor Dame Sally Davies and Professor Sir Chris Whitty.
